The AIMS team converged on Konza Field Station in early June to kickoff our first all hands meeting and synoptic sampling! Our group consisted of 37 team members from 7 institutions! Over the course of 10 days -- we measured physical, chemical, and biological characteristics at 50 locations across Konza's stream network!  #TeamBama included undergraduate Lacey Kohler, grad students Chelsea Smith and Delaney Peterson, and faculty members Carla Atkinson and Nate Jones (pictured above). For more information on AIMS -- click here. Otherwise, check out Amy Burgin's tweet string below summarizing the sampling effort!

I just had a week of the most fun field work I've done in ages. The #AIMS team finished the first of three synoptic events with this amazing team of kickass scientists. We spent a week on the Konza prairie sampling streams for *all the things*. Here's our stats for the week(1/12) pic.twitter.com/YtP4o1U4bF
